England 1 Sweden 0: Rodwell and Jones do Capello proud as Young Lions break 43-year jinx

Theo Walcott: 7/10

Made a lightning quick start to the match, causing major problems with his pace. End product is always a concern — but his speedy reputation makes him a must for Euro 2012. Replaced in the second half but will be pleased.

Bobby Zamora: 6/10

Missed a good chance inside the first 20 minutes on his big opportunity to impress. Ran his socks off but the Fulham man will not have been overly happy with this display on his Wembley audition. Kept plugging away, though, which Capello always likes to see.

Stewart Downing: 8/10

Made the goal and nearly created another for Rodwell. The Liverpool winger always puts in a shift. Effective at both ends of the pitch and his work rate makes him popular.
