Memo to Harry: this job ALWAYS ends in tears…
Stop moaning! Both Charles N'Zogbia (left) and certain Aston Villa supporters need to get a grip

To counter the protests, pro-McLeish fan sites like Protests? Not In My Name are pointing to why Villa's home record might be less than spectacular at the moment.

'Stop booing the players. Stop crying about what we have not got and what has been. Push the team forward!' it says. I couldn't have put it better.

The dissenters claim Villa are showing 'relegation form'. In fact, six wins, 10 draws and eight defeats puts them 13th, firmly in mid-table.

We know McLeish used to manage another club just along the road. So what? Get over it.

All hail King Moyes

The successor appears to have been chosen. It's how football operates: the King is dead, long live the King.

Harry Redknapp hasn't even had one of those shiny little lapel badges pinned on him by the FA and the word is David
Moyes is sure to replace him as manager at Tottenham this summer.
