We will not let the nation down, insists Hodgson on eve of England's Euro kick-off
Posted Sunday, June 10, 2012 by Dailymail

England manager Roy Hodgson is confident his squad are now ready for the challenge of their tough Euro 2012 opener against a highly rated France side and insists that he trusts in his players not to let him or the nation down.

France go into Monday's match on a 21-game unbeaten run and hot favourites but Hodgson says that merely acts as additional inspiration for England.

‘The players think we can beat France, there’s no question about that,’ said Hodgson.
