Redknapp still keen on England job despite admitting leaving Spurs would be tough
Beaten: Everton celebrate their win over Tottenham on Saturday

'If you do not have a good scorer, you have none. And you almost never see the players. Two days in two months: it is very difficult.'

In a separate interview with the Radio Times, Redknapp also touched on the scrutiny the England manager is under.

But he would find it difficult to say no, should the FA approach his employers and follow that with an attractive offer.

He said: 'At an England game about two years ago I said, "I can't believe we're playing Steven Gerrard on the left wing".

'Fabio got the needle with me because he thought I had criticised him and he didn't like it, but I was only giving him my opinion.'
