Posted Tuesday, March 13, 2012 by The Sun

Harry Redknapp would still listen to an offer from the FA despite expressing concerns about taking the England manager's job.

Much was being made of an interview the Tottenham manager had given to French newspaper L'Equipe.

Redknapp is quoted as saying he is 'not sure' about succeeding Fabio Capello, stating it could be 'difficult' to make the transition.

But Sportsmail understands Redknapp still regards it as the ultimate job and would be extremely tempted by an invitation to take charge of England this summer, despite his strong commitment to Spurs.

'I'm not sure,' said Redknapp when asked if he would like to manage England.

'I have a very good job at Tottenham today and I like it but I do not know. We will wait and see.'

He added: 'When you have a club, you are looking for a striker and you take them. When you're coach (of a national side), you must do with the players you have in your country.
