'Toxic' Terry! FA urged to remove England armband as racism trial set for after Euros
Outspoken: Jason Roberts claimed the England dressing room would be 'toxic' if Terry were captain with an unresolved court case hanging over him

Terry faces a fine of up to £2,500 if he is convicted, but more importantly his reputation and career could be left in ruins.
Any supporter convicted of racial abuse faces a life ban at Chelsea.

Terry's solicitors said in a statement after the hearing: 'Now that the court has fixed a date for trial, Mr Terry looks forward to the opportunity to clear his  name.'

Last weekend the FA cancelled the customary handshake before the Cup tie between Chelsea and QPR.

The Premier League have no plans to do the same when a Manchester United side that could include Ferdinand's brother Rio visit Chelsea on Sunday.
