In the wake of their midweek defeat to Napoli, Roberto Mancini has delivered a damning verdict over Manchester City's Champions League dreams.

City's stay among Europe's elite could be a brief one in their inaugural year in the competition with Mancini's men needing a
win over German giants Bayern Munich in their final game next month, while hoping winless Villarreal avoid defeat against Napoli.

And Italian Mancini admits his team are not good enough to challenge the likes of Barcelona and Real Madrid for the honours... even if they do survive in the competition.

A return to the Europa League beckons and Mancini is of the opinion that City have no chance of winning the Champions
League tournament this season even if they manage to defy the odds.
