Sacked Tindall shows no adverse effects as he stars for Gloucester in Toulouse defeat
Focused: Tindall put his off-field problems behind him

‘He’s desperate to play rugby and that’s what he’s paid to do. If he can perform like that he showed he will not let the external things get in the way.’

Meanwhile Wales have kept Shaun Edwards out of the clutches of England. WRU chief executive Roger Lewis confirmed he had concluded a deal which would see Edwards, who left his post at Wasps earlier this  month, remain as Wales’s defence coach for at least another four years.

The move ended any chance of the former Great Britain rugby league star joining England’s coaching team in time for the 2015 World Cup.
