Sacked Tindall shows no adverse effects as he stars for Gloucester in Toulouse defeat

Shamed England rugby star Mike Tindall suffered more agony on Sunday as his Gloucester side suffered a heartbreaking 21-17 Heineken Cup defeat at Toulouse.

Tindall was sacked by England and fined £25,000 on Friday for his drunken behaviour during the World Cup campaign in
New Zealand. But the 33-year-old centre, who is appealing against the fine, showed little sign of any inner turmoil as he set up two tries for Gloucester.

But it was not enough as the French side scored a late converted try to snatch victory.
Gloucester coach Bryan Redpath said he had urged Tindall to concentrate on enjoying his game.

‘I think with his experience he has managed to block out all external things,’ said Redpath.
