England team ... the Three Lions squad were all wearing their poppies before the match
AS England players took to the pitch for the friendly against Spain, Phil Jones appeared to be the only player not wearing a poppy.
The squad, including Jones, were all wearing poppy-adorned black armbands as they lined up on the pitch before the match, which they won 1-0.
They were able to wear the symbolic flower after an outcry forced soccer bosses to backtrack on their decision to ban the poppy from the pitch. FIFA agreed the players could wear it on armbands after protests.
The Three Lions players all looked proud to pay tribute to our fallen soldiers and honour the nation's war dead.
And some of the players stuck two fingers up at FIFA and sported embroidered poppies on their boots.
Jones wore his poppy-adorned armband with the rest of the squad as they posed solemnly on the field before the match.
But the 19-year-old Manchester United star appeared to have lost it in action during the game as he raced after Xavi Hernandez, later on the pitch.
