Players WILL honour war heroes as FIFA cave in... but why still no poppy on the shirt?
Weighing in on the debate: Cameron and Prince Williams both voiced their displeasure at FIFA's stance

Lord Mawhinney, president of the Football League, called the poppy ban 'disgraceful' adding: 'FIFA don't like England and our relationship with them over the past couple of years has been very bad.'

Heaton-Harris, the MP for Daventry, had known FIFA secretary general Jerome  Valcke from his time heading the sports committee at the European Parliament.

Heaton-Harris said: 'As a referee I know the laws of the game and I sent my text to FIFA suggesting the armband solution.
