Losing his shine: England boss Fabio Capello
'Nothing must compromise England's game in Montenegro (England require a point from the October 7 game to qualify for Euro 2012). But once England are safely qualified and Christmas and the New Year arrive, a change could be made.'
The sight of England's highest-paid manager hob-nobbing with Bernie Ecclestone and other Formula One figures yesterday will do nothing to help Capello in the eyes of his detractors.
On a busy Saturday, Manchester United, Chelsea, Manchester City, Arsenal, Liverpool and Aston Villa were all in action. But Capello, a long-time friend of former F1 team boss Flavio Briatore, was at Monza watching qualification for today's race instead of taking the chance to watch any of England's bright young talents.
