Morison gets shirty at idea of a kit swap with England galacticos
Not bothered: Morison isn't interested in swapping shirts with the likes of John Terry

Morison’s is an all-too-rare story these days, one tinged with romanticism.

Released by Northampton Town, he moved to Bishop’s Stortford, scored plenty and was picked up by Stevenage. To supplement his earnings, he collected waste paper from firms in the city and took it to be recycled.

After impressing in the lower leagues, Millwall took their chance. He moved into the top flight this summer, along with Norwich City. From shredding paper to shredding defences.

‘To be honest I believe in my ability at whatever team I’ve played with or against,’ he said.

‘If you don’t have apprehension and that night before thinking, “Am I going to be good enough?” then you will never be. And I don’t ever think I’ve made it.

‘I played against Terry the other week. I should have scored but I let him have half a chance to get back at me and he did. But I came off thinking I had done OK.
