Hodgson's right-hand man Lewington set for four-year deal with his old friend

Ray Lewington has agreed a four-year deal to be England manager Roy Hodgson's right-hand man.

The FA are close to agreeing compensation of about £125,000 with Fulham to secure the permanent services of the 55-year-old.

Lewington joined the England  set-up on a temporary basis prior to Euro 2012 but will now assist Hodgson until the 2016 European Championship.
