Nasri: We still owe France fans after South Africa World Cup debacle
Looking to shine: Nasri shares a moment with Franck Ribery and coach Laurent Blanc

He added: 'Winning this will be difficult. We are trying to build something to be ready for the World Cup in 2014 in Brazil.'

The respected French newspaper L'Equipe wrote last week Nasri would leave City this summer after one season. This prompted him to gesture at the press box after scoring against England.

Nasri said: 'Of course, you will see me in Manchester next season.'
