Walcott quit fear
PAIR OF ACES ... but could both Robin Van Persie and Theo Walcott leave Arsenal?

ARSENAL are in danger of losing Theo Walcott on a free transfer.

The winger went to Euro 2012 with just a year left on his Gunners deal.

SunSport understands England’s goal hero against Sweden is waiting to see if Robin van Persie can be persuaded to stay before committing himself.

Juventus are ready to make a huge pre-contract offer in January if Walcott does not sign.

Dutch hero Van Persie also has just a year to run.

If he decides against a new deal, then Walcott is prepared to sit tight and let Europe’s elite come to him in the winter transfer window.

A source said: “It seems unbelievable the club has left it until well into the last year of the contracts and still not managed to get either player sorted.”

Italian giants Juve are desperate to land Van Persie and Walcott could be tempted to join him.

Real Madrid are another option for Van Persie, with Manchester City and Chelsea also willing to break the bank for him.

Juve chief Pavel Nedved has started to make his move for the pair as part of his blueprint to lead the club back to former glories.

Real boss Jose Mourinho also likes Walcott but Juve are favourites to grab both, who are close pals.
