HE'S KNOT CERTAIN ... Terry is suited and booted - but may miss France clash
JOHN TERRY faces a race against time to be fit for England’s opening Euro 2012 clash.
Roy Hodgson and his squad landed in Poland yesterday ahead of Monday’s clash with France.
But Terry has yet to return to full training.
Hodgson put his team through their paces before flying from Luton, but the Chelsea defender, who pulled his hamstring against Belgium, again failed to take part.
England will train at their Krakow training base this morning and Hodgson’s medical staff will make a late decision on whether Terry can play a full part.
Had England been playing tomorrow, when Euro 2012 begins, Terry would have been out.
The Blues skipper has done some light training but it is feared one bad tackle could put Terry out of the tournament — so it is vital he is allowed to make a full recovery.
