Centurion Beckham picks up UEFA gong at Wembley alongside Charlton and Shilton

David Beckham was given a standing ovation as he returned to Wembley alongside fellow England greats Sir Bobby Charlton and Peter Shilton to collect his award for playing over 100 internationals.

The Los Angeles Galaxy star sat beside Manchester United legend and 1966 World Cup winner Charlton in the Royal Box to watch England's final Euro 2012 warm-up game against Belgium.

The pair were paraded at half-time to a rousing reception alongside former goalkeeper, and 1990
World Cup semi-finalist, Shilton.

The celebrated trio then received their gong from European football's governing body UEFA in recognition of surpassing the century milestone of caps for the Three Lions.
