Make it one to remember: Inspirational words will drive England through last game before Euros
England v Belgium: Lineups

It is his first game at Wembley since taking charge and it is a farewell to England's supporters before they head east.

But what could be a difficult encounter with a talented Belgium team is also the second and last opportunity to look at England's players in a match situation before he has to pick a side to play France on June 11.

How close Hodgson is to being ready for that contest he is not sure.

'I can't tell you how far along the path we are,' he said. 'I find it very hard to understand how anyone can imagine that, in two weeks and five training sessions, you could get a team playing the way you'd like them to play.

'If you ask me if I am happy that the players have responded well, and that the players have an idea of what we're looking for, then I am. I think they'll be OK. But you don't mould a team in two weeks. It's not possible.'

A team does appear to be forming in his mind, however, as Friday's open training session at Wembley demonstrated.
