Aleksandr Kerzhakov, Russia (CSKA Moscow)
Kerzhakov led the line for Zenit St Petersburg, scoring 23 goals for the club as Luciano Spalletti's men claimed the Russian Premier League title.
Mainly deployed as a striker, Kerzhakov is speedy and strong, an asset which makes him equally dangerous when shunted to the right flank. The symmetrical opposite of Andrei Arshavin in Russia's attack, the duo were lethal up front for Zenit and look likely to continue their partnership in Euro 2012.
