Ready: Wayne Rooney (centre) has pledged to be ready when he has served his ban
Despite missing the games against France and Sweden, Rooney is keen to impress Roy Hodgson and earn a start in the game against Ukraine.
England's talisman admits it will be frustrating to look on from the stands, but recognises he only has himself to blame for his actions.
He said: 'I feel good and I've got a few weeks before I can play. I will be ready if needed.
'It's important I do my training right. I've had a long time to think about missing these games and obviously it's disappointing.
'But it's something I've dealt with really.
