England striker Danny Welbeck's family remain determined to make the trip to Euro 2012 despite the threat of being racially abused.

The Manchester United forward was confirmed in Roy Hodgson's final squad for the trip to Ukraine and Poland on Tuesday.

Theo Walcott and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain's families have already decided to boycott the tournament out of fear of becoming victims of racism.

But sources close to Welbeck say the 21-year-old's family are desperate to watch the forward in hist first senior international tournament come 'hell or high water'.
