Loic Remy says he remains confident of making the France squad travelling to next month's European Championship in Poland and Ukraine.
The Marseille forward picked up a thigh injury in last weekend's Ligue 1 clash with Auxerre and has been ruled out of action for four weeks.
But France coach Laurent Blanc has named Remy in his provisional squad for Euro 2012, despite the striker being in danger of missing the start of the tournament.
"I am not yet in the Euros, but Blanc and the coaching staff have given me a great vote of confidence by picking me in the preliminary squad when I am injured," Remy told L'Equipe.
"The idea is that I can run by May 27-28. We will then see if I am able to go to the Euros."
Blanc has until May 29 to announce his final 23-man squad for the tournament, in which his team have been grouped with England, Sweden and co-hosts Ukraine.
