Who is in, who will start
SKIP, SKIP HOORAY ... Gerro has the armband

STEVEN GERRARD (LIVERPOOL)

HIS season has been hampered by injury problems. These have stopped him from playing at his very best but Hodgson has faith in him — making him the skipper.

GARETH BARRY (MAN CITY)

CRACKING end to the season for the Premier League champions. However, many fans will still remember his sluggish display against Germany in the World Cup finals.

WILL HE PLAY? Come on as sub

STEWART DOWNING (LIVERPOOL)

BIG shock as he has been poor for struggling Liverpool. He hasn’t scored a league goal all season, has no assists and missed a penalty against Chelsea.

WILL HE PLAY? No chance

FRANK LAMPARD (CHELSEA)

PROVED he can still bring something to the table on big occasions when Roberto Di Matteo took over from AVB at Chelsea. The 33-year-old is not over the hill yet.

WILL HE PLAY? Starter

JAMES MILNER (MAN CITY)

AN unused sub in seven of City’s last 11 games – and only did OK when being played. Very unlikely to force his way into the starting XI but may be used off the bench.

WILL HE PLAY? Come on as sub

ASHLEY YOUNG (MAN UNITED)

SOME mixed performances for Manchester United this term – and not a regular. But has still done OK in his appearances for England.

WILL HE PLAY? Starter

THEO WALCOTT (ARSENAL)

HALF-TIME sub for Arsenal at West Brom on the final day of the season after a few weeks sidelined – but he will be fine for England.

WILL HE PLAY? Starter

ALEX OXLADE-CHAMBERLAIN (ARSENAL)

GOOD choice. Has really made an impact for Arsenal this season, whether it has been as a starter or coming on as a substitute.

WILL HE PLAY? Come on as sub

SCOTT PARKER (SPURS)

YET another England player who has suffered a few injury problems. But definitely makes the starting line-up if his Achilles is OK.
