France striker Loic Remy is fighting to be fit for the European Championships after being ruled out for up to four weeks.
Remy suffered a thigh injury in Marseille's 3-0 win over Auxerre last night [Sunday] and is now battling to be fit to play in Ukraine and Poland this summer.
A Marseille statement read: "Loic Remy is suffering from a lesion in the right quadriceps.
"He will be out for three to four weeks."
France coach Laurent Blanc names his preliminary list of home-based players for the tournament on Wednesday.
His final 23-man squad for the championship must be submitted to UEFA by May 29.
