You'll be racially abused, England players told ahead of this summer's Euros
In charge: Hodgson will take England to this summer's finals

There will be around 2,050 travel bans applied to England fans by the time the event starts in a month, but Holt maintains this does not reflect on those who will go and support the team.

'England supporters very seldom cause a problem abroad these days but that isn't always the perception,' he said at a pre-event briefing in London.

'We have been working with our counterparts there and the local media to tell them this.

'Football hooliganism is more of a problem in the Ukraine than it is here. They are not as advanced in anti- racism initiatives as we are. We fear racist abuse could be a problem, potentially towards the players, and we are also concerned that supporters don't face it from some of the fan groups out there.'
