Jones in glory bid
SUMMER LOVIN' ... Phil Jones

PHIL JONES has revealed he wants international glory this summer — if not during Euro 2012 then at the London Olympics.

The defender’s boss at Manchester United, Alex Ferguson, has already said his summer plans could be thrown into chaos by Team GB call-ups.

But Jones is itching to play for Great Britain if he is not named in England’s squad for the Euros on Wednesday.

The 20-year-old, who has four England caps already, said: “There are two massive competitions coming up at the end of the season.

“Hopefully I can be part of one of them.”
