England were handed a massive boost last night with the news Theo Walcott is expected to be fit for Euro 2012.

Euro 2012 boost for England with injured Arsenal ace Walcott set to be fitThe Arsenal winger limped off during Saturday's 0-0 draw against Chelsea with a worrying hamstring injury.

Arsene Wenger confirmed after the match that Walcott would miss the rest of the season, casting doubt over his participation in Poland and Ukraine.

Walcott underwent a scan on Monday and the results have confirmed Walcott is expected to miss up to three weeks.

The England squad are scheduled to meet up for their pre-tournament training camp on May 20.

And Walcott is now virtually assured of his place on the plane to Euro 2012 after avoiding a lengthy lay-off.
