England were handed a massive boost last night with the news Theo Walcott is expected to be fit for Euro 2012.
The Arsenal winger limped off during Saturday's 0-0 draw against Chelsea with a worrying hamstring injury.
Arsene Wenger confirmed after the match that Walcott would miss the rest of the season, casting doubt over his participation in Poland and Ukraine.
Walcott underwent a scan on Monday and the results have confirmed Walcott is expected to miss up to three weeks.
The England squad are scheduled to meet up for their pre-tournament training camp on May 20.
And Walcott is now virtually assured of his place on the plane to Euro 2012 after avoiding a lengthy lay-off.
