Holt holds Euro dream
READY TO ROAR ... Three Lions hopeful Grant Holt

GRANT HOLT is ready to impress the next England boss — and seize his chance if he gets picked this summer.

The Norwich striker has banged in 15 goals this season and Wayne Rooney is the only Englishman with more in the Premier League.

Rooney is banned for the first two Euro 2012 matches and Holt, 31, has emerged as an option.

He said: “I’ve got to do it for Paul Lambert first and if the new boss wants to pick me I will take the opportunity on.”

Holt (left) has played in all four divisions and is confident about making the next step up.

He added: “If you put the ball in the area I will do my best to finish. I’ve got good players around me and I always said I would score goals at any level.”
