Wenger fury as Walcott refuses to come off despite 'serious' injury
Treatment: Walcott on the turf after picking up his hamstring injury

'He wanted to stay on the pitch and carry on but I felt he should have moved off straight away,' said frustrated Wenger.

'The second time it was a real problem. It looks a serious hamstring. Now it will be tough to return before the end of the season.'

Walcott, 23, is likely to miss England's warm-up game in Norway on May 26, with the final 23-man squad for Poland and Ukraine named before the friendly against Belgium at Wembley a week later. Walcott has so far failed to complete a minute for England at a major tournament.

He was an unused squad member in 2006 as an untested 17-year-old, having not played a League game for Arsenal.
