The England team have so far raised over £2.2million for charities including Together for short lives (formerly known as Children’s Hospices UK), WellChild, the Bobby Moore Fund for Cancer Research UK and the Professional Footballers Association charity initiatives. They now have formed partnerships with Help for Heroes and Cancer Research UK, plus their own Outreach programme.
Stephanie Moore MBE, who runs the Bobby Moore Foundation, said: 'It has been a wonderful evening. An event like this helps raise awareness for all the charities involved and we really appreciate all the support that everyone has given us.'
