England blow as Bent ruled out of Holland clash with ankle injury
Posted Sunday, February 26, 2012 by Dailymail

Darren Bent looks certain to be the latest player to withdraw from Stuart Pearce's England squad for this week's friendly with Holland after suffering an ankle injury at Wigan.

The England striker turned his ankle with 10 minutes remaining of the 0-0 stalemate and was carried off.

Though he is yet to have a scan to determine the damage, Aston Villa do not believe he will recover in time for Wednesday's match at Wembley.
