Wayne Rooney is free to play in England's final group game at Euro 2012 after UEFA reduced the striker's ban to two games.
Rooney was facing three games out after receiving a straight red card for kicking Miodrag Dzudovic in England's final qualifier in October.
Fabio Capello would have had a difficult decision to make if the initial suspension had stood but England's Italian manager is now certain to take Rooney next summer.
