EUR OUT ... ex-England skipper David Beckham has no chance of finals place
FABIO CAPELLO has officially ruled David Beckham out of Euro 2012.
Beckham has refused to give up on England, even though he will be 37 by the Euros.
The 115-cap star is tipped to join French club Paris St Germain in a bid to restart his international career.
But, when asked if Becks was in his plans for the finals, Capello replied: "No. I think he will be involved in the Olympic Games."
Becks was a part-time coach and sounding board at the World Cup, having missed out on the squad through injury.
But it seems unlikely Capello will repeat the experiment in this summer's Euro finals.
"I haven't thought about this," he said.
Beckham last played for England in the World Cup qualifying victory over Belarus two years ago.
And with so many youngsters coming through and making claims for places, his England days are surely over for good.
