Capello continues to stand by Terry despite naming Lampard skipper for Spain clash
United front: Terry has the backing of the squad despite race row

'I decided everything (regarding team selection) before what happened (the racism allegations). I don't want to speak about this any more.'

Capello confirmed: 'John will play against Sweden. Tomorrow he will be on the bench with the other players. He will be captain (against Sweden), absolutely.

'He is the team leader. He has always been really important in the dressing room.

'But I think it will be important to see some players play against Spain. The style of Spain is unique. None of the other teams play like that.
