Record low expected at Wembley as England struggle to shift Sweden tickets
Head-to-head: England have not beaten Sweden since 1965

England have not beaten the Swedes since 1965 and eight of the 13 meetings since have ended in draws.

The FA insists ticket sales across a fortnight of international football have been very healthy because the U21s and the U19s have sold-out fixtures on Thursday.

England U21s will take on Iceland in a Euro qualifier in front of 10,000 at the Colchester’s Weston Homes Community Stadium and the U19s have sold out Brighton’s new 22,000-seater Amex Stadium for their friendly against Denmark.

An FA spokesman said: 'We are absolutely delighted that more than 130,000 fans will be turning up to support the national team over a three day period when they play Spain and Sweden at Wembley.
