FABIO CAPELLO’S right-hand man Franco Baldini started his new job as general manager of Roma yesterday.
Baldini’s contract with the FA is up at the end of this month and he was given leave to travel to Italy to begin his new career.
Baldini will continue to help Capello in an unpaid capacity, next returning to England a couple of days before the friendly with Spain on November 12.
