John Terry has launched a passionate defence of Wayne Rooney following the Manchester United striker's red card during the European Championship qualifier against Montenegro on Friday night.
Rooney was given his marching orders in the 73rd minute after kicking out at Miodrag Dzudovic with the score at 2-1.
