David Beckham is keen to sign for Spurs

PSG's director of football Leonardo worked with Beckham during the midfielder's time on loan at AC Milan and is eager to persuade him to move to the French capital.

However, the 36-year-old has hinted he favours a return to England with Tottenham, reports RMC.

The ex-Manchester United and Real Madrid star was close to joining Spurs on loan last season, but no deal could be agreed and he did nothing more than train with the London club to stay fit during the MLS close season.

Beckham made a positive impression on White Hart Lane boss Harry Redknapp, who remains interested in adding the experienced midfielder to his squad.

It seems Spurs made an equally good impact on the veteran star and he is now keen to sign for them.
