MOST people who have their foot in plaster spend their days at home watching Homes Under The Hammer and eating crisps.

But Jack Wilshere has blown more than £50,000 on a new car to relieve the boredom.

The Arsenal and England star has replaced his Range Rover Sport 2.6 HST 4x4 with the Autobiography Edition – and called in legendary car pimper Yianni Charalambous to kit it out.

A source said: "Jack has bought the car to cheer himself up because he's fed up with his ankle injury.

"He's been going mad at home with nothing to do and spent loads of time checking out new cars online ahead of his operation."
