England fury at racist abuse from Bulgaria fans

ENGLAND have complained to UEFA after their black stars were racially abused.

Some Bulgarian yobs made monkey noises each time one of England's black players touched the ball while others made Nazi salutes.

An FA spokesman said: "We've raised it with the Bulgarian FA and UEFA delegate."

Asked if could hear the chants, Arsenal star Theo Walcott said: "Yes, it was very clear."

UEFA could fine the Bulgarian FA or even ban fans from a game.

Bulgaria's German coach Lothar Matthaus said: "It's shameful for things like that to happen. I'd like to apologise."

It is the FIFTH time England have complained to UEFA about racist abuse in the last 10 years.
