My beach boys! World Cup showed we need holiday before Euros, admits Fabio
'They have started to train like they were children, wanting to play,' he said. 'They were really happy. This is really, really important, them being so happy. I learned a lot from the World Cup. That was a different moment and the attitude was a big problem. For this reason, it's really important to know what happened and what I will do in the future.'

Switzerland boss Ottmar Hitzfeld, meanwhile, has turned up the heat on England by insisting Capello's side have 'a lot to lose'.

Hitzfeld said: 'The pressure in every game is on the favourite. We have nothing to lose. England can lose a lot. We want to try to play in some sort of liberated way. I'm wondering how England will cope with the pressure.'

The German has not given up hope of his Swiss team qualifying for next summer's tournament in Poland and Ukraine, but has selected three uncapped players in his squad.

Nigeria-born Innocent Emeghara, 22, Admir Mehmedi, 20, and Granit Xhaka, 18, who were all part of Switzerland's 2009 World Cup winning side at Under 17 level, have been called up by Hitzfeld.

The coach insisted the Football Association's stance at this week's FIFA congress in Zurich would have little influence on the game.

England were one of only 17 countries who abstained from voting in the election in which Sepp Blatter was re-elected as the FIFA president.

Hitzfeld, 62, said: 'I am very glad that Mr Blatter has been re-elected. He is a very important man for world football. As Swiss we are quite proud to have the FIFA president from Switzerland.'
