* Malouda goal earns France 1-1 draw
* We didn’t deserve to win - coach Blanc
MINSK, June 3 (Reuters) - France stayed top of Euro 2012 Group D qualifying despite being held to a 1-1 draw in Belarus after giving a lacklustre performance on Friday.
France have 13 points from six games while Belarus are second, four points adrift.
“It was a disappointing game. We did not start well,” coach Laurent Blanc told French TV channel TF1.
“We lacked freshness and we did not deserve to win.”
Still reeling from a recent row over ethnic quotas in national youth academies that eventually saw Blanc cleared of any wrongdoing, Les Bleus were uninspired throughout.
Belarus, who started their campaign with a 1-0 win at the Stade de France, created the first chance when Igor Shitov had a 20-metre drive tipped over the bar by Hugo Lloris.
Barcelona defender Eric Abidal, back in the squad after having a liver tumour removed earlier this year, deflected a routine free kick into his own net in the 20th minute to give the home team the lead.
France levelled two minutes later, Chelsea winger Florent Malouda curling in a delicate shot from just outside the box after being set up by Karim Benzema.
