Fab facing striker crisis

DARREN BENT is England's only fully-fit striker for tomorrow's Euro qualifier with Switzerland.

Peter Crouch has back trouble while Bobby Zamora is still struggling with a hip injury he picked up at the end of the season with Fulham.

Both trained all this week but are playing through the pain barrier.

With boss Fabio Capello not replacing injured Jermain Defoe, Bent has been left as the only 100 per cent fit striker.

Manchester United's Wayne Rooney is suspended so Bent will lead the line.

But if the Aston Villa star suffers an injury, then Capello's attacking options will be severely limited.

West Ham's Scott Parker, however, is set to shrug off an Achilles problem and could play in the Wembley test.
