World and European champions Spain have been invited to play in the Copa America following the withdrawal of Japan.
The Japanese pulled out of July's tournament as the fallout from last month's earthquake and tsunami continues by causing domestic fixture congestion.

Now organisers CONMEBOL have set their sights on Spain.
Angel Maria Villar. president of the Spanish football federation, said: 'We received the official invitation, and we don't rule it out.
'Next week or the week after we will determine at a meeting of the board of directors whether we will accept the invitation.'
Japan and Mexico were the two teams from outwith South America due to play in Argentina. The Japanese were drawn in Group A with the hosts, Bolivia and Colombia.
