Ashley Cole might have been released from England's friendly match with Ghana to prepare for crucial Chelsea games, but rather than resting he hit a club instead.

It might not be the typical way to train for upcoming matches, but Ashley thought it would be a good idea to go out drinking with the lads in London until 5am.

He was joined by Carlton Cole, 27, and Shaun Wright-Phillips, 29, on the boys' night out at Boujis club in South Kensington.

The footballers were seen sipping on cocktails at the swanky venue before heading to Jet Black in the West End.

Ashley, 30, won't be taking part in today's England match against Ghana at Wembley due to his hectic Premier League and UEFA Champions League schedules.
