Abbey stands by Peter Crouch

The Sun revealed on Monday how Spurs star Crouch, 30, went to Suzanne's block - which houses 1,000 Emirates airline staff - following a boozy night at a club last month.

He left ten minutes later after speaking to security guards, who make sure the Islamic state's strict morality laws are observed.

Unmarried couples are forbidden to "share private space".

Those who break the rules can be jailed or flogged.

The Tower's log showed Crouch was initially signed in as Peter Johnson. The surname was then crossed out and replaced with his real name.

There is no suggestion he was involved in improper conduct with Norwegian Suzanne, who claimed she merely wanted to collect something from her flat.
