Posted Monday, March 28, 2011 by YAHOO Sport
Bordeaux captain and France midfielder Alou Diarra has admitted he dreams of playing for Italian giants Milan.

The Rossoneri are flying high in Serie A and reports have linked them with a hoard of midfielders in the summer transfer window, such as Bayern Munich's Arjen Robben, and Tottenham winger Gareth Bale.

Now Diarra, 29, is making his case for a move to Massimiliano Allegri's side, and when asked who he dreamed of playing for, he told the club's official website:

"Milan because of their players and their history. The San Siro is a magnificent stadium.[Marco] Van Basten, [Frank] Rijkaard, [Ruud] Gullit, [Roberto] Donadoni, [Paolo] Maldini,[Franco] Baresi, that was a great team."
