Marchisio wants 'balanced' Italy performance

Intro:

Italian midfielder Claudio Marchisio was still positive of qualification out of Group C, ahead of the game with the Republic of Ireland, as he spoke on Saturday (June 16th) in Krakow, Poland.

Script:

SOUNDBITE (Italian) Italy midfielder Claudio Marchisio: "Aside from the changes the coach will decide to make, we have to play like we did in the first half (against Croatia), that is the real Italy, and we have to do it for 90 minutes, without worrying too much about what will happen in the other match, because if we win, we go through, so we just have to think about ourselves, and not about what happens elsewhere."

SOUNDBITE (Italian) Claudio Marchisio, Italy midfielder: "I think it's pretty normal that when you give so much like we did in the first half (against Croatia), then it's normal you can have a drop in your performance. And that is exactly where you have to regain a balance, especially among the different areas of the team, because that has been our problem, we could not be offensive anymore, our game was unbalanced, and so we could not keep imposing our game."
