Citta the elephant's predictions for Poland v Czech Republic
Posted Friday, June 15, 2012 by SNTV

Intro:

Citta the elephant predicted a draw on Friday for Poland's final Group A game against the Czech Republic.

Script:

Co-hosts Poland play the Czech Republic in Wroclaw on Friday, but they're not the only ones in action.

As Citta the psychic elephant was busy once again, trying to predict the scoreline at Krakow Zoo.

And in truth she needs to work a bit harder as so far she hasn't quite hit the mark.

The 33-year old tipped Poland to win their two opening games - but they both ended in draws.

This time round Citta's playing it safe.

She reached for the middle melon - predicting the final group A game will end in a draw.

That would mean a disappointing outcome for the co-hosts - leaving them short of the quarter finals.

But the zookeepers aren't getting too downhearted.

SOUNDBITE: (English), Jerzy Pirog, Krakow Zookeeper:
"Well the Polish flag and the Czech flag are very similar - I don't know, maybe she didn't want to make the mistake and decided the draw will be the safe score."

And if they don't like Citta's predictions, well there's always the psychic pig from Kharkiv.
